Worship and Church School: Sundays at 10:00 AM

To Be Saved? – with Rev. Abigail Stockman

Sunday Service - November 12 - 10:00 AM

Pianist: Alison Cerutti

Salvation is a key theological concept especially in Christianity. What might salvation mean if the traditional understanding holds no meaning for us? For what and by what are we saved from a liberal, progressive religious perspective.

After service: Conversation about religious education/faith formation with Rev. Abigail. This will be especially geared toward those who have children/young people attending First Church. I will bring possibilities for us to consider - and see who might be interested, if anyone - about what and how we might structure something for our children that will work for our contemporary families.

For Our Church is More than Framework

Sunday Service - November 19 - 10:00 AM

Join us for this exciting Sunday when we will gather for a shortened service before the Governing Council will join with Karen Bellavance-Grace, from the UUA Regional Staff, and facilitate us in creatively imagining our new future. It's an exciting, and sometimes daunting, opportunity to step out of what we've known and imagine something new and different. Our by-law creation and our shared gifts will make it possible.
